THE GRUFFALO

Con el otoño nos apetece juntarnos mucho y escuchar cuentos. ¿Qué mejor historia para escuchar en esta época que la de Gruffalo!. Hoy viajamos con nuestra profe Charlotte into a deep dark wood (un profundo y oscuro bosque en otoño) y nos encontramos con una serie de personajes maravillosos.

In autumn we feel like getting close together and listening to stories. What better story to hear in this day and season than Gruffalo's! Today we travelled with our teacher Charlotte into a deep dark wood and we met a set of wonderful characters.

Revisamos una vez más las palabras que hemos aprendido con el cuento.

We checked on the words we have learned with the story once again.

Y  luego las vimos con detalle en  la canción de The Gruffalo

WINNIE THE WITCH

Hi sweeties!!

Empezamos la semana con nuestro cole inundado de cosas monstruosas: brujas, fantasmas esqueletos, ...

It's HALLOWEEENNN!!!

Recibimos en el cole la visita de una bruja muy especial. ¿Quién será? Se parecía un montón a Teacher Charlotte pero en realidad era WINNIE. ¡¡SIIII!!!. La mismísima Winnie the Witch venía a contarnos su historia.

Estuvimos muy atentos y nos encantó la historia de Winnie the witch y de su gato Wilbur. Tanto, que en la clase de 4 años nos atrevimos a hacer a nuestro propio Wilbur "with green eyes, whiskers and a long black tail".

Igualitos al original ¿No creeis?

En clase de 5 decidimos hacer una "haunted house". Pero en lugar de "black" usamos distintos colores. Aprovechamos el vocabulario de "parts of the house" que estamos aprendiendo para abrir ventanas a kitchen, bedroom, living room y bathroom.

Vamos a recordar la historia y la canción.
